Project „Blue Mound“ goal – using the Leader principles (the main “Bottom-up”) to create a functioning international tourism route connecting X countries.
Country or type of partner we are looking for: LAG, whose activities are aimed at increasing the attractiveness of regional activities by expanding sustainable tourism (environmentally friendly activities) involving local natural and cultural heritage objects. Also organizations that know and nurture their country’s cultural traditions, typical products and are able to organize traditional feasts and popularize their local tourist attractions and are interested in the possibility of creating international routes.

First day. Uzpaliai direction.
Objects to visit: Lygamiskis mound with the stone “Witch boat”, Krokule stream, Uzpaliai manor, Uzpaliai Church, Conglomerate exposure, Seimyniškiai mound.

After activities – mobile sauna therapies.
The opportunity to purchase organic juice from farmer Sigitas Sinica.
If the date coincides with the event “Cycle to Vyzuonos“, tourists would have the opportunity to take part in this event.
If the date coincides with the event “Autumn Equinox, the Day of Baltic Unity and Fire in Užpaliai“, tourists would have the opportunity to take part in this event.
Second day. Zarasai direction.
Objects to visit: Antaliepte Saint Cross Monastery Complex.

After hike and educational activities, the following objects are visited: the Stone Church of Salakas and the churchyard fence, Salakas Maritime Museum.

Third day. Tauragnai direction.
First group. Objects to visit: Taurapilis mound and the deepest lake in Lithuania Tauragnas, Daunoriai church, Vaisnoriskes and Suminai ethnographic villages, Ginuciai water mill, Ginuciai mound, Ladakalnis hill.

The second group. Objects to visit: short kayaking in the city of Utena, Narkunai mound (possible demonstrative education about the weaving of the baltish band), Taurapilis mound and the deepest lake in Lithuania Tauragnas, Presentation of baltish clothes, Kirdeikiai St. John’s Church.

Fourth day. Sudeikiai direction.
Objects to visit: Wedding hill and Kloviniai dam, Utena racecourse (the only horse hotel), stone cutting craft in Sirutenai, demonstration of the clogs carving craft in Sirutenai, Sudeikiai lake coast, Maneciai mound, catfish farm.

Fifth day. Leliunai direction.
Objects to visit: Leliunai St. Joseph’s church, Utena art center, ceramics museum, limousine cows farm.

If the date coincides with the event “Young people are active! In Pakalniai” or Feast of local people, tourists would have the opportunity to take part in this event.
Sixth day. Saldutiskis direction.
Objects to visit: Wolf museum, Bunny valley, Hammer museum in Linkmenys, and sightseeing tour of Saldutiskis town: Saldutiskis manor, Saldutiskis St. Franciscan church, Freedom square, stony Stoties street with a monument to the independence of Lithuania.
